CGMG Capital – The Acquisition of a Commercial Heritage Gem

CFMG Capital creates value for investors through active development of residential land subdivisions across Australia.

When we first met with CFMG Capital, their founders expressed that thanks to their rapid growth, they had outgrown their space in Fortitude Valley and were looking to find their next home. Whist undertaking our Workplace Strategy & Design review, it was evident that for the CFMG Capital team, it was important that this space represented their long-standing cultural values, as well as their deep affinity to Brisbane.

With that objective in mind, our Occupier Advisory team approached the market and sourced a heritage-listed building at 138 Mary Street, which was built in 1901 as Brisbane’s very first brewery. Once secured, our Fitout Delivery team worked with CFMG Capital to design and deliver their exquisite fitout. A fitout that championed the building’s heritage and a space that was completely aligned with CFMG’s amazing company culture.
